Carlo López
I'm Carlo López, a passionate runner (even if only in my dreams), though not skilled enough to make a living out of it. That's why I pursued a career as an economist and statistician. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Mexico City, I'm an avid traveler, cinema enthusiast, and lover of coffee. I'm always eager to connect with new people and share experiences.
My love for running began 17 years ago when I was inspired by my father and joined him in some street competitions. This initial revelation helped me discover my limits in the sport. During my university years, I became part of the representative team and started participating in mid and long-distance track competitions.
For the past five years, I've been a proud member of a running club, diligently following my training plan, covering about 100-120 km per week. My focus remains on unlocking my full potential as a runner. In my marathon debut in Paris, I achieved a time of 2 hours and 42 minutes. I'm determined to keep surpassing my personal best records through discipline, dedication, and the joy of continuous learning on this journey.
Beyond running, I am deeply passionate about exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures. I had the opportunity to reside in Pamplona, Spain for six months and in Graz, Austria for nearly a year. Throughout my time there, my running shoes became witnesses to my adventures, taking me through diverse cities and countries.
Running serves as our universal language, and I invite you to join me in speaking it while exploring the captivating attractions that Mexico City has to offer.
