The Macroplaza or Gran Plaza is a square in the city of Monterrey in Mexico. This is the name given to the central part of Monterrey that occupies 40 acres. It is the largest plaza in Mexico and the 5th largest plaza in the World.
In it there are shops, recreational areas and green areas together with the old monuments and colonial buildings that contrast with the new constructions. The most notable monument is "El Faro del Comercio", a 70-meter high monument with a laser beam at the top that illuminates the sky over the city at night.
In this tour we will not cover a long distance but we will visit a lot of interesting places so we will use the time when we stop to admire every of them to do a great workout with running technique and functional exercises.
